The Irish Concrete Society aims to promote knowledge and awareness of concrete to students of Construction Related Courses.

Many Irish Higher Education Institutes are members of the Society. Check with your lecturer to see if your College is a member.

Two schemes are available for students at Irish Higher Education Institutes:

Sean de Courcy Student Award – Each year Irish Higher Education Institutes are invited to enter one final year (Level 8) or masters (Level 9) project which addresses a concrete related topic. The winning project is announced at the Irish Concrete Society Annual Awards Evening. If you are interested in entering your project, please contact your project supervisor.

Student Travel Bursary is typically aimed at assisting postgraduate researchers who wish to travel to an international conference to present their research. Click here for more detailed information and an application form.
