The Irish Concrete Society aims to promote knowledge and awareness of concrete to students of Engineering, Architecture and Materials.

Many Irish Universities and Institutes of Technology are corporate members of the Society. Check with your lecturer to see if your College is a member.

The Society gives students preferential rates to many of our courses and seminars.

The ICS run two schemes specifically for students at Irish Universities:

Sean de Courcy Student Award – Irish universities are asked to enter one final year project which addresses a concrete related topic. The award is presented each year at the Irish Concrete Society Awards evening. If interested, please contact your lecturer.

Student Travel Bursary is typically aimed at assisting postgraduate researchers who wish to travel to an international conference to present their research. Click here for more detailed information and an application form.
